About the event
Organized by Hands in the Soil (HITS), A free monthly gathering dedicated to collective healing in partnership with nature. Through intentional activations—ranging from movement and meditation to creative expression—we cultivate spaces for all to pause, connect and heal within community.
A Seasonal Wellness Gathering for Summer
Summer invites us into a different rhythm—one of expansion, vitality, connection, and expression. As we move into the energy of the season, we invite you to join us for an afternoon of learning, restoration, and community care.
Together, we’ll explore how to live in greater relationship with summer through the lens of seasonal wellness, receiving practical insights and teachings on how to support the body, mind, and spirit during this time of year.
The gathering will include:
Seasonal Wellness Lecture
Led by Nirva Parikh of Marigold Acupuncture, Licensed Acupuncturist, this lecture will explore how to align with the energy of summer through simple practices and perspectives that support greater balance, vitality, and well-being.
Community Acupuncture
Receive a restorative acupuncture treatment in a peaceful outdoor setting. Services are provided in collaboration with Nirva Parikh of Marigold Acupuncture, Licensed Acupuncturist. Treatments are offered in a group environment, allowing participants to rest, receive, and experience the collective benefits of community care.
Important: To receive acupuncture treatment, participants must attend the Seasonal Wellness Lecture. No exceptions. This ensures everyone receives the proper context, care, and preparation before treatment.
Sun Tea Making Station
Hosted by Hands in the Soil, the Sun Tea station invites participants to connect with herbs, sunlight, and seasonal intention through a simple tea-making practice rooted in care, nourishment, and connection.
Sound Accompaniment
Sound accompaniment by YD Nature will support the atmosphere of rest, presence, and deeper listening throughout the gathering.
