What is the Through the Fire Procession?
Through the Fire is a guided community walk inviting Altadena to come together in healing, remembrance, and resilience after the Eaton Fire.
We walk in commemoration of the transformation of lives and landscape during the 2025 Eaton Fire, and in honor of the people, land, and stories forever shaped by it.
Moments of Remembrance - West Altadena Homeowners
Honoring the Land. Honoring the Story. Honoring the Return.
As the procession moves through West Altadena, it passes a series of moments of remembrance staged along the route to evoke joy, remembrance, and resilience through music, memory, and everyday rituals of family and community life.
Residents may offer their home, land, or storefront as a site for a community moment, provided it is located along the designated route. Moments may include musical, visual, or audio elements; altars or symbolic objects; or quiet gestures honoring the people, land, and lived experience of Altadena.
